Slippers, slippers, slippers we willen slippers!
Patapata, patapata, patapata, we want patapata’s
Ocean Sole is a Kenyan undertaking in upcycling old flip flop’s into artworks. A lot of flip flops are worn in Kenya and other African countries. A lot of these flip flops end up in the environment. Just last year Ocean Sole has upcycled 750.000 flip flops in to art. This year they want to make it 1 million! This is where we have hit a snag, they know there are enough flip flops laying around the country side (one manufacturer makes 30 million a year), they just can’t get them to the artists fast enough. Would you like to help clean up your environment of these plastic flip flops and create a new revenue stream for your good work? Please contact Nicholas Ninaber van Eijben if you are in the Netherlands or James Duder directly in Kenia.
